Message	It happened so suddenly yesterday. After speeding for a while I couldnt get into 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear. Terrible vibration and gears comes off. Even in Neutral there was a terrible vibration and as result it was hard to shift from 2nd to 4th. Took it to the mechanic and he couldnt figure out what was causing it. He asked me to remove the shifter panel and check out the shifter, and guess what.... The shifter rubber base broke and as a result the shifter base was touching the driveshaft (1st, 3rd, and 5th gear). So you can imagine the vibration of the shifter base touching the driveshaft while the car is moving. Hopefully this is fixed now and I am happy. Speed is a passion that lead to madness.
